Bubble Tap
Bubble Tap gives you twenty seconds and one bubble to hit at a time. Tap it and another appears somewhere else on the board. Every successful hit adds a point.
The opening targets are fairly large. As the score rises, the bubbles shrink and accurate taps become more important. There is nothing to drag or collect; find the next circle and hit it.
How Bubble Tap works
Only a tap inside the bubble counts. A successful hit adds one point and moves the target to a new random position.
Missing the bubble does not remove points, but the clock keeps running. The target stays where it is until you hit it.
Bubbles get smaller as you score, down to a minimum size. The round ends after twenty seconds and shows how many you popped. The timer starts when you press Start, not when you first open the page.
Controls
Press Start, then click the bubble with a mouse or tap it with your finger. Aim inside the circle rather than near its edge.
The game uses pointer or touch input; there are no arrow-key controls.
When the round finishes, press Play again for another twenty seconds.
Tips
Look for the new bubble after every hit. Repeatedly tapping the old position wastes time because the next target may be across the board.
Aim near the middle of the circle. A tap that just misses its edge will not count, which becomes easier to do as the targets shrink.
Keep the whole board in view before starting. Scrolling to find the bottom of it during a round uses time you could spend playing.
If you miss, correct your aim before tapping again. Several rushed taps around the same small bubble are usually slower than one careful hit.
Notes from playing it
Target positions are random, so one round may ask for more movement across the board than another. A score difference is not always just a change in reaction speed.
Touch and mouse input involve different movements. Use whichever is comfortable and compare rounds on the same device if you want a useful personal benchmark.
The game has no pause control. Wait until you are ready before pressing Start; the full twenty seconds then runs without a break.
